Concours "Haïkus De Nuit"



A vos plumes, à vos claviers ! Du 1er février au 6 mars 2016, les médiathèques de Cergy vous proposent un concours de Häikus



A l’occasion du Printemps des poètes 2016, les médiathèques de Cergy vous invitent à déployer vos talents de poètes en vous exerçant au Haïku, et en participant aux concours "Haïkus De Nuit ", du 1er février au 6 mars 2016.



 

Living Haiku Anthology.



Entries of a maximum of two (2) haiku per person are invited for an adjudicated international haiku contest to mark the third anniversary of the Living Haiku Anthology.
No restrictions are placed on form, content and style however entrants are advised that the judges will be looking for evidence of poetic mastery and an appreciation of that which distinguishes haiku from any other short form of poetry.

Any haiku written in a language other than English should be accompanied by an English translation.

Over time the Living Haiku Anthology will continue to develop as the first stop venue for readers of the present (and the forseeable future) seeking to read what haiku are being written globally.
The winning haiku will be displayed on the home page of the Living Haiku Anthology as an exemplar of haiku being written in this second decade of the 21st century.
Entries (closing August 31 2016) will be accepted via email submission to poetryinsmallspaces [@] gmail [.] com (N.B. remove extra spaces and brackets). Haiku should be in standard text format within the body of the email (no attachments accepted).
First, second and third winning haiku and three (3) honorable mentions will be announced on September 27 2016.
Judging will be done in two stages.  In the first stage, the five judges will receive a blind copy of all entries received before the deadline and will select the ten haiku that each regards most favorably. 

The five first-stage judges are Alan Summers, Johannes S.H. Bjerg, Sheila Windsor, Greg Longenecker and Iliyana Stoyanova.
Their selections will be collected and passed to the final judging panel consisting of Michael Rehling, Jim Kacian and Michele Root-Bernstein.
The judge's decisions will be final and binding.  No correspondence will be entered into.

Contest judges and the LHA founders will not be eligible to enter the contest.

All entries must be the original work of the author and must not have been published or shared in any public venue or medium including Facebook, Twitter, personal blogs or websites.  Privately workshopped haiku are acceptable.

- soit sous forme de tanka
- soit sous forme de renga (écriture collective à deux ou plus)

Golden Haiku Contest

Warm the Winter Landscape with Your Words.

Now through February 5, you are invited to submit a spring-themed haiku that will be judged by an expert panel, including:
  • Roberta Beary, haibun editor, Modern Haiku; author of The Unworn Necklace (Snapshot Press, 2007, reprinted 2015) a haiku collection and Deflection (Accents Publishing, 2015) a haibun collection.
  • Abigail Friedman, Founder and CEO of The Wisteria Group; author of The Haiku Apprentice: Memoirs of Writing Poetry in Japan (Stone Bridge Press, 2006); I Wait for the Moon: 100 Haiku of Momoko Kuroda (Stone Bridge Press, 2014); and Street Chatter Fading (Larkspur Press, 2015).
  • David McAleavey, professor of literature and creative writing at George Washington University; author of Huge Haiku (Chax Press, 2005, 315 pp.), the forthcoming Rock Taught (Broadkill River Press), and four other books of poetry.
Winning poems will be displayed along Golden Triangle sidewalks. The authors of the top three poems will receive these prizes:

The Betty Drevniok Award 2016

Haiku Canada is pleased to announce the 2016 contest.

First prize is $100 CDN, second prize is $50 CDN, and third prize is $25 CDN.

The haiku must be unpublished. There is no fee for entering.

European Haiku Prize



Cash prizes totalling a staggering €1300. Limit 3 haiku. Entries may be written in any be written in any language, but must be accompanied by an English or French translation. An anthology will also be produced of selected entries.

Concours de haïkus « Les Jardins »


Ce concours de haïkus est organisé par Lirenval dans le cadre de son 16ème Salon du Livre.


Les haïkus proposés devront évoquer  le thème du Salon, celui du Jardin. Ils peuvent être accompagnés d’un dessin, d’une photo…



Comment participer ?    
·         tout  haïku proposé doit évoquer le thème du Jardin ;
·         le haïku doit être en langue française ;
·         il doit être signé (nom réel ou pseudonyme) ;
·         tout  participant s’engage à proposer des textes inédits et personnels ;
·         le nombre de haïkus par participant est limité à cinq ;
·         le concours comprend  deux catégories :


-          junior : moins de 18 ans (individuel ou scolaire)
-          adulte : plus de 18 ans.

Envoi des haïkus
·         les poèmes doivent être envoyés ou dépo­sés
-  dans l’une des bibliothèques partenaires (voir liste sur www.lirenval.com)

·         accompagnés des coordonnées de l’auteur du haïku
 (nom et prénom, et éventuellement pseudo, - adresse postale - tél - e-mail)
·         avec la mention suivante :
Je soussigné(e) ................................, atteste être l'auteur du ou des haïku(s) ci-joint(s)  et autorise Lirenval à le(s) diffuser librement pendant le Salon et sur son site (www.lirenval.com).
