International Matsuo Bashō Award

Dear Haijin,

we are pleased to inform you that the Italian Haiku Association (IHA) and the Man'yōshū Publishing, in collaboration with the National Archive of Haiku Poets (ANPH), have just announced the III Edition of the International Matsuo Bashō Award for haiku poetry.

Entries may be submitted in any one of four categories:

A. HAIKU IN ITALIAN OR DIALECT LANGUAGE (over 18);

B. HAIKU IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES, ACCOMPAIGNED BY AN ENGLISH OR ITALIAN TRANSLATION (over 18);

C. HAIKU IN ITALIAN OR ENGLISH LANGUAGE (under 18);

D. HAIKU FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS.

Prizes: Euro 200, 100 and 50, plus commemorative plaque and diplomas. No entry fee required.

Submission deadline is set on July 31, 2015.
