The 4th Japan-Russia Haiku Contest
Please submit your haiku according to the guidelines below.

Eligibility: The contest is open to the public of any nationality in the world
Entry: Only one haiku is allowed to be submitted per haiku poet.
Theme: “lake”
Submission Guideline:
Original, previously unpublished haiku should be submitted according to the entry form. There are three sections of Japanese haiku, Russian haiku, and English haiku. One of the languages has to be chosen from among Japanese, Russian, and English in composing and submitting haiku.

International Matsuo Bashō Award
Am primit de la Associazione Italiana Haiku urmatorul anunt:
Dear Haijin,
we are pleased to inform you that the Italian Haiku
Association (IHA) and the Man'yōshū Publishing, in collaboration with the
National Archive of Haiku Poets (ANPH), have just announced the III Edition of
the International Matsuo Bashō Award for haiku poetry.
Entries may be submitted in any one of four categories:
A. HAIKU IN ITALIAN OR DIALECT LANGUAGE (over 18);
B. HAIKU IN FOREIGN LANGUAGES, ACCOMPAIGNED BY AN
ENGLISH OR ITALIAN TRANSLATION (over 18);
C. HAIKU IN ITALIAN OR ENGLISH LANGUAGE (under 18);
D. HAIKU FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS.
Prizes: Euro 200, 100 and 50, plus commemorative
plaque and diplomas. No entry fee required.
Submission deadline is set on July 31, 2015.

Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival Haiku Invitational
On the theme of "connections". Llimit of 2 haiku. Winners published in
various places, including newspapers and the Haiku Canada newsletter,
printed in a chapbook hand folded and bound by Leaf Press and on the
VCBF website. Top poems will receive celebrity readings and be featured
in creative ways during the 2016 festival.
